10 COSE DA FARE E VEDERE NEI PRESSI DI POMPEI

La città di Pompei è una delle mete turistiche più spettacolari e famose d'Italia, è l'unico sito archeologico al mondo che fornisce l'immagine di una città romana nella sua interezza e che, per questo motivo, attrae ogni anno milioni di visitatori. 
Essa sorge alle falde del Vesuvio, in una terra meravigliosa che merita di essere esplorata. 
Già, purtroppo i turisti si limitano a una veloce gita ai famosi scavi, ignorando le città limitrofe, ma non sanno cosa si perdono: il litorale vesuviano ospita molti altri incredibili tesori. 
Vediamo insieme quali sono:

Pompeii is one of the most spectacular and famous tourist destination in Italy, it is the only archaeological site in the world that provides the image of a Roman city in its entirety and that, for this reason, attracts millions of visitors every year.
It is located at the foot of Vesuvius, in a wonderful land that deserves to be explored. Yeah, usually tourists visit only the famous ruins quickly, ignoring the neighboring cities, but they don't know what are missing: the Vesuvian coast hosts many other incredible treasures.

ALLA SCOPERTA DI CAPRI: L'ISOLA DEI SOGNI!

Pur avendo la fortuna di poter salutare Capri ogni mattina dalla finestra della mia camera, in tutti questi anni avevo trascorso sull’isola non più di qualche ora, tempo decisamente insufficiente per comprendere la vera anima di questo incantevole luogo.

Quest’anno ho cercato di rimediare e, anche se i miei tre giorni a Capri non sono stati comunque sufficienti per visitare tutti i meravigliosi luoghi che l'isola ospita, sono sicuramente bastati a farmi innamorare follemente di questo gioiellino del Golfo di Napoli.

Though I'm lucky enough to be able to greet Capri every morning from my room window, during all these years I spent on the island no more than a few hours, a not enough time to understand the true soul of this lovely place.

This year I tried to fix it, and even if my three days in Capri were not enough to visit all the wonderful places that are in this island, they were enough to make me fall in love with this gem of the Gulf of Naples.

UN PRIMO ASSAGGIO DEL CILENTO: TERRA INCANTEVOLE DI MITO E NATURA INCONTAMINATA

Spiagge da incanto, mare cristallino, paesini dal fascino antico e vaste distese di ulivi secolari: il Cilento è questo e molto altro ancora!

Questa terra selvaggia e incontaminata, situata nella parte meridionale della Campania, è praticamente la mia seconda casa, e non finisce mai di stupirmi ed emozionarmi.

Meta perfetta per le vacanze estive, il Cilento ospita tantissimi luoghi di interesse e litorali di cui innamorarsi.

In questo post voglio parlarvi di alcune delle deliziose località di mare della parte settentrionale di questa meravigliosa terra.

Charming beaches, crystal clear sea, ancient villages and vast expanse of secular olive trees: the Cilento is this and much more!

This wild and unspoiled land, located in the southern part of Campania, is pretty much my second home since I was a child, and it never ends up to amaze me.

As perfect destination for summer holidays, Cilento is home to many places of interest and coasts to love.

In this post I want to talk about some of the delicious seaside cities of the "north" part of this wonderful land.

SIENA: LA CITTA' DEL PALIO BELLA TUTTO L'ANNO

Siena mi ha stupita: i tre giorni che ho passato in questa piccola città della Toscana mi hanno veramente impressionata.

Dopo questo sfortunatamente breve soggiorno so che, ogni volta che mi troverò a ripassare per questa splendida regione, avrò un'altra tappa obbligata.

UN WEEKEND NELL'ETERNA ROMA IN UN HOTEL SIMBOLO DELLA DOLCE VITA DI FELLINI

La città eterna come sfondo, un incantevole hotel dal fascino antico... quest'anno il mio compleanno è stato davvero speciale!

FUGA D'AUTUNNO NELLA MAGICA ANACAPRI, LA PARTE PIÙ AUTENTICA DELL'ISOLA DI CAPRI

Chi pensa che Capri sia un sogno solo d’estate, non sa cosa si perde: in autunno questa magica isola è addirittura più bella!

Nei mesi autunnali, infatti, l’aria fresca, i caldi colori della natura e l’assenza di fiumi di turisti rendono l’isola ancora più romantica e suggestiva.

Inoltre, in questo periodo, i prezzi degli hotel sono più bassi e, dato il fantastico clima della Campania, non è difficile imbattersi in giornate dal sapore estivo, che rendono possibile anche un bel tuffo nelle splendide acque di Capri.

Di Ischia vi ho parlato spesso e in svariati modi; l'aspetto che volevo presentarvi oggi è uno di quelli che non possono non essere presi in considerazione quando si fa una vacanza in Campania: il cibo.

Roma è sicuramente la città dove torno più spesso, almeno dieci volte l'anno; ogni volta, comunque, riesce a stupirmi e ad affascinarmi come la prima. Non ne ho mai parlato sul blog perché la bellezza di questa città è talmente tanta che non saprei proprio da dove cominciare. Oggi, però, voglio darvi qualche consiglio per trovare la sistemazione giusta in città. Io spesso mi sono trovata bene prenotando con Best Western (trovate qui tutti gli hotel a Roma della catena se volete dare un'occhiata), ma la ricerca non è facile vista la vastità della capitale e le tante e diverse zone in cui è divisa.

I have never spoken about Rome on the blog because the beauty of this city is so much that I would not know where to start. RITORNO A MATERA: NUOVE SCOPERTE E INTENSE EMOZIONI NELLA CITTÀ DEI SASSI

Matera è sicuramente una delle città più sorprendenti che mi sia capitato di visitare. Unisce fascini diversi e complementari e dà, più di tutto, l'impressione di trovarsi in un posto veramente unico al mondo. Storia, innovazione, ma soprattutto rispetto della tradizione, sono gli elementi principali che hanno animato la rinascita di questa città, curata in modo impeccabile ma sempre sorprendente come solo i luoghi più genuini sanno essere.

Matera is definitely one of the most amazing cities I have ever visited: a truly unique place in the world. History, innovation and respect for tradition, are the main elements that have marked the rebirth of this city, organized impeccably but always surprising how only the most genuine places can be.

UN WEEKEND PER INNAMORARSI DI GAETA

Ho passato, durante la seconda metà di ottobre, un bellissimo fine settimana nella zona di Gaeta. Anche se ormai era già autunno inoltrato, le temperature erano ancora pienamente estive, perfette anche per fare il bagno: questo, tra i tanti, uno dei punti forti di questa zona.

I spent, during the second half of October, a beautiful weekend in Gaeta area. Even though it was already late autumn, the temperatures were still fully summer, also perfect for swimming: this, among many, one of the strong points of this places.

BARI: UN TUFFO NEL VERO SUD

Bari è stata la città che ho usato, per diversi giorni, come base durante il mio on the road della Puglia. Il capoluogo pugliese, città verace e che si rivela al suo visitatore pian piano, è perfetta, infatti, per visitare i tanti vicini paesini più noti e turistici della Puglia (Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Locorotondo per citare solo i più belli); ma ha anche tanto da offrire di per sé.

Bari is the city that I used, for several days, as base during my on the road of Puglia. The Apulian capital, typical southern city, is perfect, in fact, to visit the many nearby villages and the most famous places in Puglia (Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Locorotondo to mention only the most beautiful); but it also has much to offer in itself.

LE CASCATE DELLE MARMORE DI TERNI, UN VERO SPETTACOLO DELLA NATURA!

Come avrete ormai notato, in questi ultimi tempi, a causa di numerosi impegni universitari e lavorativi che non ci danno la possibilità di organizzare lunghi viaggi all'estero, ci stiamo dedicando a tutti quei meravigliosi luoghi della nostra Italia che ancora non avevamo visitato.
Durante le feste di Pasqua abbiamo, quindi, deciso di ritornare in Umbria (regione che ci era piaciuta moltissimo), per spostarci, poi, nell'affasciante Tuscia.

In recent times, due to numerous university and work commitments that do not give us the possibility to organize long trips abroad, we are exploring all those wonderful places of our Italy still had not visited.
So, during the Easter holidays we have decided to return to Umbria (region that we liked very much), to move, then, in the fascinating Tuscia.

Anche per questa Pasqua non ho saputo resistere: un piccolo tour lo dovevo organizzare!

Avendo a disposizione meno tempo del solito-il tour sarà, infatti, di 5-6 giorni-, ho scelto dei luoghi vicini alla mia regione, la Campania, in modo da raggiungerli agevolmente e con rapidità.
