COSA E DOVE MANGIARE IN ANDALUSIA

La Spagna non è solo cultura e divertimento: anche chi ama il buon cibo non tornerà deluso da una vacanza in terra latina.

Durante il mio tour andaluso, ho potuto degustare prelibatezze di mare e di terra in tutte le città dove ho soggiornato.

Comincio con un piccolo elenco di piatti tipici che non dovete assolutamente dimenticare di assaggiare:

I MIGLIORI LOCALI DI BADEN-BADEN

Baden-Baden non è solo relax e cultura, tavoli da gioco e terme: anche la gastronomia è di tutto rispetto! Il centro storico è pieno di ristoranti di tutti i tipi, per tutti i palati e per tutte le tasche.

Di seguito, vi lascio alcuni consigli sui miei ristoranti preferiti in città.
Questa lista non può non cominciare se non con il bellissimo e molto caratteristico ristorante Baldreit, un po' nascosto ma in pieno centro, dove siamo stati invitati per una cena dal gentilissimo ufficio del turismo di Baden-Baden. 

Baden-Baden is not just relaxation and culture, gaming tables and spas: the local cuisine is very respectable! The old town is full of restaurants of all kinds, for all tastes and all budgets.
Below, I leave you some advice about my favorite restaurants in town.
I absolutely have to start from the restaurant Baldreit, a little hidden but in the center, where we were invited to a dinner by the friendly tourist office of Baden-Baden.

ROMANTICA HEIDELBERG: LA STORIA DEL BACIO DELLO STUDENTE

Heidelberg è stata la seconda tappa del nostro tour tra Francia e Germania. Si tratta di una deliziosa città tedesca, conosciuta nel mondo in quanto sede di una prestigiosa Università e quintessenza del Romanticismo, che ci ha accolto in maniera eccezionale e travolto con le sue romantiche atmosfere studentesche e le sue antiche e dolci storie, come quella del "Bacio dello studente".

Heidelberg was the second stop of our tour between France and Germany. It is a delightful German city, known worldwide as the home of a prestigious University and quintessence of Romanticism, who welcomed us in an exceptional manner and overwhelmed us with its romantic atmosphere and its old and sweet stories, like the "Student's Kiss".

IL MERCATO CENTRALE DI FIRENZE

Se volete mangiare bene a Firenze avete solo l'imbarazzo della scelta.

Non dimenticate, però, nell'infinita lista di alternative mangerecce, di dedicare almeno un pasto(ma sono pronta a scommettere che sarà più di uno) al Mercato Centrale.

If you want to eat well in Florence you have a wide choice.

One of the many places you can't miss is the Central Market.

VIAGGI DI GUSTO: I PIATTI DELLA TRADIZIONE UMBRA

L'Umbria è un'oasi di pace, una piccola isola verde dove il silenzio e la calma fanno da padroni.
Le immense vallate che si estendono in ogni direzione comunicano un forte senso di serenità, di rilassatezza.
In un posto del genere, è chiaro!, non può mancare un'ottima cucina tradizionale!

COSA E DOVE MANGIARE IN RUSSIA

 

La Russia è una nazione veramente sorprendente: ha mille differenti risorse e altrettanti assi nella manica, capaci di incantare e stupire i suoi visitatori: il cibo è uno di questi.

Si mangia bene in pratica dovunque, dallo street-food ai ristoranti, senza dimenticare la qualità di pasticcerie e panetterie. 

Russia is a country truly amazing: it has thousand of different resources and the food is one of them.
You'll eat well everywhere, from street-food to restaurants.

PEGGY PORSCHEN CAKES: LA MIGLIORE BAKERY DI LONDRA

All'angolo tra Ebury Street ed Elizabeth Street, nella elegantissima Belgravia, a pochi passi dalla stazione Victoria, sorge l'incantevole pasticceria di Peggy Porschen, la 'regina delle torte'.

Qui potrete gustare gli autentici e delizioni dolci anglosassoni, molto diversi da quelli italiani, ma non per questo meno buoni.

The Peggy Porschen Parlour, the stunning bakery of the 'queen of cakes', lies in Belgravia, on the corner of Ebury Street and Elizabeth Street, a few steps from Victoria Station.

CUCINA GOURMET IN CAMPANIA: CENA AL ROSSELLINIS DI RAVELLO

Se volete passare una serata indimenticabile in uno dei posti più belli al mondo; se volete trascorrere una ricorrenza importante con una cena romantica; se volete gustare un pasto gourmet che ricorderete per molto tempo; se volete essere ospiti di uno dei palazzi antichi più belli che vi possa capitare di vedere...in tutti questi casi, potete avvalervi della stessa soluzione: prenotate un tavolo al Rossellinis, l'elegantissimo ristorante, a Ravello, ospitato nel sontuoso Palazzo Avino(ex palazzo Sasso, oggi hotel di lusso): passerete delle ore indimenticabili.

MANGIARE A NEW YORK: MISSION (QUASI) IMPOSSIBLE

Partiamo da un presupposto: mangiare bene a New York non è per nulla semplice.

Certo, la Grande Mela, anche sotto il punto di vista culinario, ha un'offerta varia e quasi infinita, ma, per chi è abituato agli alti standard italiani(da noi, in effetti, si mangia bene veramente in qualsiasi tipo di negozio), l'impresa di riuscire a fare un pasto decente(senza svuotare del tutto il portafogli) non è certo facile, anche se non del tutto impossibile.

Let's start with a premise: to eat well in New York is not easy.
Of course, the Big Apple, also from the culinary point of view, has a varied and almost endless offer, but for people used to the highest Italian standard (we eat really well in any type of store) the undertaking to be able to make a decent meal (without emptying the wallet) is not easy, even if not completely impossible.

COSA MANGIARE IN GRECIA

Se c'è una cosa che non manca in Grecia, è sicuramente la buona ristorazione.

Anche nei centri più piccoli, nei borghi meno abitati, non avrete mai difficoltà a trovare qualche bel posto dove consumare un ottimo pasto.
Taverne come se piovesse, bar ad ogni angolo di strada, fast-food su ogni marciapiede: per scegliere il vostro pranzo o la vostra cena avrete solo l'imbarazzo della scelta.

One of the best things in Greece is the good food.  
Even in smaller towns, little villages, you will never have trouble finding some nice place to have a great meal.  
Tavernas like rain, bars on every street corner, fast-food restaurants on every sidewalk: to choose your lunch or your dinner will be spoiled for choice.
