PADOVA: ITINERARIO DI UN GIORNO-CAPPELLA DEGLI SCROVEGNI E MOLTO ALTRO

Durante il mio tour del Nord-Est Italia, ho usato Padova come base per le varie escursioni. La sua posizione la rende perfetta per visitare tutte le città più belle e note del Veneto (Venezia, Verona, Vicenza): al massimo un'oretta di treno sarà sufficiente per raggiungere ognuna di queste destinazioni.

Padova è, di per sé, una città molto piccola che non può certo, almeno a mio parere, competere con i fantastici posti vicini, ma che ha comunque abbastanza da offrire.

Una giornata intera, secondo me, è sufficiente per visitarla.

During my tour of North-East Italy, I used Padua as base for excursions. Its location makes it perfect to visit all the most famous cities of Veneto (Venice, Verona, Vicenza).

Padua is a very small town that certainly cannot compete with the fantastic nearby places, but that has still enough to offer.

A full day, I think, is enough to visit it. 

LA VENEZIA MENO NOTA...LA VENEZIA CHE CERCAVO!

Venezia è uno di quei posti che non hanno bisogno di presentazioni: tutto il mondo la conosce e sa i motivi per i quali si viene qui.

La Laguna, Rialto, Piazza San Marco, il Palazzo Ducale, il Canal Grande, il Museo Guggenheim: penso siano in pochi, sul globo terracqueo, a non sapere di cosa sto parlando.

Però, in questo mio post, volevo parlarvi di alcuni scorci della città che maggiormente mi hanno ricordato l'atmosfera della “vera Venezia”, quella che si legge nei libri dell'ottocento e si vede nei film di qualche decennio fa, quella insieme romantica e sinistra, quella dove la laguna è anche il posto degli innamorati in viaggio di nozze, ma non solo quello!

Venice: need I say more?
The Lagoon, Rialto, Piazza San Marco, the Doge's Palace, the Grand Canal, the Guggenheim Museum: I think few person, on the globe, don't know the places I'm talking about.
However, in this post, I wanted to talk about some glimpses of the city that most reminded me the atmosphere of the "real Venice", the city that we read in the books of the nineteenth century and we saw in ancient movies, the Venice where the the lagoon is the place for lovers and honeymooners, but not only that!

INNAMORARSI DI VERONA IN 1 GIORNO

Durante il nostro tour del Nord-Est Italia, non abbiamo saputo resistere al fascino di Verona e, nonostante non fosse in programma un giro in questa deliziosa città, siamo riusciti a dedicarle un'intera giornata.

During our tour of the North-East Italy, we could not resist to the charm of Verona and, although we had not planned a tour in this beautiful town, we have managed to spend here an entire day.

TERME E RELAX AD ABANO TERME

Abano Terme=relax.

Chi viene qui, non chieda null'altro.

Situato lungo il margine dei Colli Euganei, il piccolo paesino veneto può vantare un'offerta illimitata di hotel, e tutti (o quasi) offrono piscine di acqua termale, saune, centri benessere, e tutto quanto può essere collegato ad un centro con un indirizzo turistico prettamente termale.

Abano Terme = relaxation.
Those who come here, do not ask anything else.
Located along the edge of the Euganean Hills, the small village of Veneto boasts an unlimited supply of hotels, and all (or most) hotels offer thermal pools, saunas, spas.

BURANO, LA DELIZIOSA ISOLA DAI MILLE COLORI!

 

Burano è stata una delle più gradite soprese di questo nostro tour nel Nord-Est Italia.
Ero stata già diverse volte a Venezia, senza mai spingermi nelle sue isolette limitrofe (tra cui le famose Burano e Murano), perdendomi il meraviglioso spettacolo che queste ultime hanno da offrire.
Tra le due isole che vi ho citato, vi consiglio di dedicare particolare attenzione a Burano: seppur Murano sia più conosciuta nel mondo per l'antica lavorazione artigianale del vetro, l'atmosfera magica che si respira a Burano è davvero da non perdere! 

Burano has been one of the most pleasant surprises of our tour in the North East of Italy.
I was already several times in Venice, without visiting its neighboring islands (including the famous Murano and Burano), losing the spectacular scenery they have to offer.
Between the two that I have mentioned, I recommend you pay special attention to Burano: even Murano is known throughout the world for the glass manufacturing, the magical atmosphere that reigns in Burano is unique!

Dopo il bellissimo tour natalizio tra Umbria e Toscana, anche questa volta la Bella Italia ha avuto la meglio su mete esotiche o straniere: più la esploro, e più mi convinco che nessuna nazione possa competere con le bellezze nostrane!

Per questa estate, le mie mire si sono indirizzate verso il Nord-Est.

After the beautiful Christmas tour between Umbria and Tuscany, even this time I choose the Beautiful Italy for my holidays!

This summer, I'll visit the North-East of Italy.
