Dopo diverse volte a Venezia da semplice turista, quest'anno, come vi ho già raccontato in questo post, ho deciso di cercare la Venezia più vera (o almeno l'idea che ne avevo io), la Venezia di cui avevo letto nei libri dell'800, la Venezia che custodisce quegli scorci tenebrosi che, insieme a quelli maestosi dei luoghi e monumenti famosi, la rendono una vera perla rara.
E devo dire che sono riuscita a trovare quello che cercavo: Venezia, questa volta, mi ha davvero stupito.
Ho trascorso ore e ore a passeggiare, senza una precisa meta, tra calli strette e spesso maleodoranti, innamorandomi di quella atmosfera veramente unica al mondo.
E proprio mentre girovagavo tra quei meravigliosi vicoletti, mi sono imbattuta in un luogo molto originale (che, giustamente, in molti mi avevano anche consigliato): la Libreria Acqua Alta.
After several times in Venice as simple tourist, this year, as I told you in this post, I decided to look for the real Venice (or at least to look for the idea that I had about it), the Venice about that I had read in ancient books, the Venice which houses those glimpses of darkness that, along with those of the famous places and monuments, make it a real rare pearl.
And I must say that I found what I was looking for!
I spent hours and hours walking around the narrow "calli" without a precise goal, falling in love with the atmosphere truly unique.
And just as I wandered among those wonderful streets, I found a truly original place: Libreria Acqua Alta.
