COSA VEDERE E DOVE DORMIRE A BARCELLONA

Barcellona è sicuramente una delle mete europee più visitate degli ultimi anni, una città che sta conoscendo un flusso turistico senza precedenti: ma, una volta prenotato un soggiorno qui, quali sono le cose che assolutamente non ci si può perdere?

Barcelona is definitely one of the most visited European destinations in recent years: but once you've booked a stay here, what are the things you can not miss?

Nell'elenco che segue, i monumenti e le attrazioni irrinunciabili da visitare in 3-4 giorni:

-le architetture di Gaudì: la più nota, chiaramente, la Sagrada Familia, ma ce ne sono sparse in città tante altre: la Casa Batlò e La Pedrera (o Casa Milà) per citare le due più importanti; per quel che riguarda la Sagrada Familia, il prezzo per l'entrata negli interni è forse un po' eccessivo, anche tenendo conto del fatto che la parte più suggestiva è sicuramente la facciata;

-la Rambla: molto probabilmente è da qui che comincerete il vostro tour di Barcellona: la lunghissima strada dello shopping e degli artisti di strada, con ad un'estremità il quartiere della Barceloneta e all'altra Plaza de Catalunya;

In the list below, the monuments and attractions to visit in 3-4 days:

-Gaudì's architecture: the most famous, of course, the Sagrada Familia, but there are so many others in the city: Casa Batlò and La Pedrera (or Casa Milà) to name the two most important; as far as Sagrada Familia is concerned, the price for entering the interiors is perhaps a bit excessive, even beacuse the most striking part is surely the facade;

-the Rambla: this is where you surely start your tour of Barcelona: the long road of shopping and street artists; at one end the neighborhood of Barceloneta and the other Plaza de Catalunya;

-il Barri Gòtic: forse la parte migliore di Barcellona, con le sue atmosfere affascinanti e i suoi innumerevoli vicoletti; è anche la zona più indicata per mangiare fuori;

-la Boqueria: tutta la Spagna è nota per i suoi sfavillanti e coloratissimi mercati, e quello di Barcellona è uno dei più grandi: cibo dappertutto, e di tutti i tipi e per tutti i palati!;

-la Cattedrale di Santa Eulalia: a volte, parlando di Barcellona, ci si dimentica di questo antico gioiello in favore delle architetture più moderne: ma la visita vale assolutamente la pena;

-Barri Gòtic: perhaps the best part of Barcelona, with its fascinating atmosphere and its many alleyways; is also the most suitable area for eating out;

-the Boqueria: all of Spain is famous for its bright and colorful markets, and that of Barcelona is one of the largest: food everywhere, and of all kinds and for all palates!;

-the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia: sometimes, speaking of Barcelona, you forget about this ancient jewel in favor of the most modern architecture: but you have absolutely to visit the Cathedral!;

-il Montjuic: noto soprattutto per gli spettacoli serali della Fontana Magica, è comunque una delle zone più interessanti della città, con i suoi due bei obelischi e il maestoso castello medievale sulla cima: non dimenticatevi di fare una capatina qui, mi raccomando!;

-il Parc Guell: un'altra opera di Gaudì e un altro dei simboli di Barcellona, con la lucertola più famosa del mondo che vi attende all'entrata;

-i musei: come ogni grande città europea che si rispetti, anche a Barcellona non mancano: io vi consiglio, tra i tanti, sicuramente quello di Picasso.

-the Montjuic: famous especially for the nighttime shows of the Magic Fountain, but it is one of the most interesting areas of the city, with its two beautiful obelisks and the majestic medieval castle on the top: do not forget this place, I recommend!

-the Parc Guell: another work by Gaudì and another of Barcelona's symbols, with the world's most famous lizard waiting for you at the entrance;

-museums: like every great European city, even in Barcelona there are many: I recommend, among many, certainly Picasso's.

Per quanto riguarda l'alloggio, durante il mio soggiorno a Barcellona, ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare presso il Barcelona Nice & Cozy; si tratta di una struttura molto ben tenuta e comoda, situata a poche centinaia di metri dalla stazione della metro. Le camere, dall'arredamento simpatico, sono molto pulite, come la cucina al pianterreno, nella quale, a fine giornata, dopo le vostre lunghe passeggiate per la città, potrete prepararvi un nutriente e salutare pasto quando non vi va di mangiare fuori. Ma il punto forte del Barcelona Nice & Cozy è sicuramente la grande terrazza situata sull'attico: da qui potrete godere di un bellissimo panorama su Barcellona, seduti al tavolino o sdraiati sulle sdraio: un colpo d'occhio veramente spettacolare!

La struttura si trova nel quartiere di Horta, una zona molto calma e sicura, nella quale non faticherete a trovare ristoranti e bar per un'uscita serale.

As for the accommodation, during my stay in Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at Barcelona Nice &Cozy; this is a very well kept and comfortable structure, located a few hundred meters from the metro station. The rooms are nice, with a cute decor, and very very clean, as the kitchen on the ground floor, where, at the end of the day, after long walks to the city, you can prepare a nutritious and healthy meal when you do not eat outside. But the strong point of Barcelona Nice & Cozy is surely the large terrace on the attic: from here you can enjoy a beautiful view of Barcelona, sitting at the table or lying on the deck chairs: a spectacular show! The property is located in the Horta district, a very calm and safe area, where you will easily find restaurants and bars for an evening outing.
