Il nostro hotel, il meraviglioso boutique hotel Corral del Rey, era situato nel cuore della capitale dell'Andalusia, nel bellissimo e colorato quartiere Alfalfa, distante giusto pochi minuti a piedi dalle principali attrazioni della città.
Il Corral del Rey si trova, infatti, in un centralissimo edificio del XVII secolo, una casa-palazzo completamente restaurata e dal design ricercato, opera dell'artista spagnola Kuky Mora-Figueroa.
La struttura è piccola, ma curata in ogni minimo dettaglio: le sole 12 stanze e la penthouse suite di cui si compone, situate in due palazzi frontistanti dell'omonima Calle, sono di un lusso estremamente raffinato.
During our stay in Seville, we experienced the oldest and most authentic part of the city.
Our hotel, the wonderful boutique hotel Corral del Rey, was located in the heart of the capital of Andalusia, in the beautiful and colorful Alfalfa quarter, that is just a few minutes walk from the main attractions of the city.
The Corral del Rey is, in fact, in a very central building of the seventeenth century, a house-building completely restored and with a refined design, work of the Spanish designer Kuky Mora-Figueroa.
The hotel is small, but cured in every detail: the only 12 rooms and penthouse suites, located in two buildings in the homonymous Calle, are a very stylish.
Ammetto di aver sviluppato una vera e propria passione per i boutique hotel ultimamente. Adoro ammirare gli incredibili lavori di design che rendono gli ambienti così accoglienti.
Nel Corral del Rey, poi, c'è davvero da incantarsi: nessun mobile o oggetto è messo lì per caso, e il risultato di questo attento lavoro di fusione tra antico e moderno è veramente delizioso.
Inoltre, anche la colazione (inclusa nella tariffa delle stanze) merita una menzione: pasticcini fatti a mano e deliziosa frutta fresca vi daranno un lieto buongiorno.
I admit I developed a real passion for the boutique hotel recently. I love to see the incredible work of design that make the rooms so comfortable.
In the Corral del Rey, then, it is really enchanting: no furniture or object is placed there by chance, and the result of this careful work of fusion between ancient and modern is really delicious.
Also, the breakfast (included in the price of the rooms) deserves a mention: handmade pastries and delicious fresh fruit will give you a good morning.
Ciliegina sulla torta è la panoramica terrazza sul tetto, da cui si gode di un'incredibile vista sulla Cattedrale e sulla Giralda. La terrazza ospita anche una piscina, in cui è piacevole rinfrescarsi dopo una giornata sotto il caldo sole della città.
