The New York skyline is among the most famous and stunning in the world.
By day, by night, from the ocean, from the top, the show that this city offers is always breathtaking, and a photo with skyscrapers in the background is a must.

Here the best points from which you can admire and photograph the Manhattan skyline:

1. Empire State Building: here the upper floors opened to the public are the 102 °, covered, and 86°, open-air.
The Empire is not only a great panoramic point, but also a very romantic place (marriage proposals are not unusual, especially at sunset).
As one of the most popular attractions, it is almost always crowded. To avoid endless queues, I recommend you book your ticket online.

2. Top of the Rock: considered the best panoramic point over the city, since it allows you to admire the Empire State Building, the Top of the Rock is the observatory on top of the tallest building in the Rockefeller Center, about 259 meters from the ground.
The ticket is about $ 20 and the last elevator departs at 11 p.m.

3. Helicopter tour: for the brave there is also the possibility to admire the city from the sky.
Since the attacks of September 11 it is no longer possible to fly over the skyscrapers of Manhattan, so helicopters are allowed to fly only the waters of the Hudson and the East River
Regarding the price, it starts at around $ 150, that can raise, then, depending on the route chosen and the duration of the tour.(http://www.libertyhelicopters.com/

4. Staten Island Ferry: Do you remember Melanie Griffith in 'Working Girl'? The daily trip of the ambitious Tess McGill between Staten Island and Lower Manhattan offers a unique show: almost to touch the Statue of Liberty, looking at the Skyline become smaller and smaller, it's a feeling to try!
The boats(free) to Staten Island depart every hour from Lower Manhattan.

L'Hoboken ferry Terminal!

5. Hoboken: easily accessible by train(2,50$) or by ferry(8$), even Hoboken, became famous thanks to the Carlo's Bakery, offers a fabulous view on the City.
The most panoramic point? The Hoboken Ferry Terminal!

6. Brooklyn: also from the shores of the Brooklyn show is very nice (and free).
Industries and warehouses that were built along these shores are now replaced by parks, residential areas, bike paths and restaurants, which makes the view of the city even more enjoyable.

  1. Ciao.
    Ciao, buon proseguimento
